Jamila is a New York Native who has a B.S in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a M.A.T in Math Secondary Education. Jamila is now a resident of Newark, NJ after purchasing her first home with her husband. Jamila has always been interested in creating generational wealth for her family and took a strong interest in Real Estate Investing and Home Ownership as a vessel to do so. Through the process of buying a home, Jamila decide that she was going to become a Dual Career Agent and went through the process to gain her real estate license.

Jamila believes in helping her clients by equipping them with knowledge and up to date resources to make the most informed decisions when it comes to their real estate transactions. In order to do so, she spends several hours a day learning about changes to the industry and the markets she serves. She brings her experience as a high school math teacher which has allowed her to effectively communicate the meaning “behind the numbers” and to serve as a strong advocate. In addition, Jamila is a hard-working, dedicated, and strategic person who will go above and beyond for the best interest of her clients.

Jamila is a Junior Board Member of The Parris Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting educational opportunities and fostering awareness in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) via scholarships and community outreach programs in disenfranchised communities. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support
through established programs in local communities throughout the world. In her spare time, Jamila enjoys traveling around the world with her husband or friends. She also enjoys volunteering in the community as well as reading financial empowerment and investing books.
